# Curbpack

> Curbpack checks your repository against local rule packs and writes a review pack you can hand to a buyer or auditor—on your machine, without claiming certification.

## What

Local-first CLI. Rule packs on disk. Review pack for human review. Green gates mean “ready for a human to look,” not “approved.”

## Three ways in

Write starts with **curb outlines (your pathway sketch)**. After pack confirm, a **local pack→rule map** steers drafting—not a legal oracle—then dual drafts → cite-check refuses uncited Claims. Bring existing docs onto pack paths, or CI alone — same local `check`. Human confirms use a TTY or `--i-am-human`. Research briefs never gate pass/fail.

## What you get

- Gate report (every check): JSON + markdown — structural evidence
- Review pack + buyer one-pager (after green + share): hand to buyer
- Attest capsule (human attest): unsigned ≠ verified
- Proof page (after attest): local proof/index.html — still human judgment

## What not

- Not conformity assessment / CE / notified-body approval
- Not a cloud GRC / regulation chat KB

- **Read-only first contact:** `npx curbpack@0.5.2 scan` — no init, no files written; scan defaults to cra-baseline + Art 14 clock
